About Clara Antunes

Clara Antunes (b. Lisbon, 1988) is a cultural manager, with a degree in Architecture (FA-UTL), a postgraduate degree in Programming and Cultural Management (Universidade Lusófona) and a presently ongoing MA in Culture Studies (FCH-UCP), where she conducts research on culture’s role in tackling the climate emergency. Clara has been working in production, assistance to artistic programming with communities, communication, and project management together with several independent structures and artists since 2010, among them: Vo’Arte; Jonas&Lander; Materiais Diversos; Madalena Victorino and Giacomo Scalisi; Rua das Gaivotas 6/Teatro Praga; Ponte 9 Creative Platform/Open House Macau, among others. Since 2021, she undertakes the management of the EU-funded large cooperation project “Stronger Peripheries: A Southern Coalition” at Artemrede.
